NEW ADRENALIN BREAKS TO JERSEY- THE LATEST ADDITIONS TO CRYSTAL ACTIVE BEACH 2008
The new summer 2008 Crystal Active Beach programme is now officially on sale and features a new multi-activity centre in Croatia, plus new adrenalin breaks to Jersey and an expanded surfing programme to south-west France.
Katie Waddington, manager for Crystal Active Beach, explains: “Our beachclub in Croatia is ideal for couples and families alike to experience our multi activity offering – for example you can choose to sail, windsurf or kayak in the morning and then go biking in the afternoon.......or just relax by the pool and be pampered in the spa. The choice is yours.”
NEW active breaks to Jersey
New active breaks to Jersey have been introduced for 2008 based on a range of durations from three nights upwards. Flights depart from Luton, London Gatwick, Coventry, Cardiff, Doncaster, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin to name but a few. Hotel accommodation is based at either the family-friendly Merton Hotel, the recently refurbished four-star Pomme d’Or or the Golden Sands Hotel situated on the beach.
Prices start from £210 per person staying at the Golden Sands Hotel for three nights bed and breakfast-board based flying from Luton. Packages include flights, transfers, accommodation and a choice of activity with transportation to/from the hotel.
Jersey offers a wide range of outdoor activities, which can all be pre-booked . Adrenalin activities unique to the island include blokarting (wind powered gokarting), world-class surfing, coasteering (extreme rockpooling), hovercrafting, zip lining as well as cycling through 96 miles of speed restricted Green Lanes.
A bundle of activities called “Pure Adrenalin” cost £50 per person and includes rock climbing, abseiling and either blokarting or coasteering. Packages are based on a minimum of two participants.
Surfing in south-west France
The surf programme has expanded with the addition of Jersey to our existing programme in south west France. Surfing conditions along the Biarritz and Bordeaux coastline are excellent and the area attracts surfers of all abilities as well as hosting many pro-surf competitions.
Staying in a luxury mobile home in the Le Vieux Port campsite in Messanges, guests can do as much or as little as they like. On-site facilities include three swimming pools, one with slides. Other activities which are payable locally include tennis courts, horse riding, daily fitness classes and crazy golf. Alternatively, head into nearby Le Vieux Boucau or Hossegor, the famous surfing mecca, for an après surf drink.
Prices start from £149 per person and include seven nights’ self-catering staying in a Vivaldi designer-style mobile home and midweek channel crossing. Price includes a free package of three surf lessons (board and wetsuit hire included) and free six-day standard bicycle hire.
NEW sailing and windsurfing courses
Two-day RYA sailing and windsurfing courses are available at our RYA Training Centres in Greece and Turkey with prices starting from £99 per person.
New one-hour private sailing and windsurfing lessons can also be pre-booked with your Crystal Active Beach holiday to Greece, Turkey and now Croatia with prices starting from as little as £35 per person.
New learn to water ski or wakeboard packages are also available for summer 2008 with prices starting from £55 per person.
New Laser coaching weeks are available in Greece departing the UK on 11-17 May. Prices start from £39 per person for a total of six hours of expert coaching. Delivered by a Laser expert these new on-shore workshops are ideal for those who want to develop their sailing skills. A minimum of Level 2 sailing is a prerequisite. Places are strictly limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
Families welcome
New pre-bookable baby bundles are available for all 2008 family holidays to Club Active centres. The aim of these is to take some of the hassle out of travelling as a family and to help keep packing to a minimum. Basic Bundles are free for all infants and include a baby bath, bath mat, sun cap and potty. Various other packages are available at a supplement and these include nappies, wipes, aqua nappies, sterilising equipment rental and HiPP Organic food jars, juices and biscuits. Prices start from £35 per week.
NEW 2008 pricing
Crystal Active’s new child pricing system means that children will now count towards occupancy. The first child receives 60 per cent discount off the adult price, second child 30 per cent discount, teenagers 20 per cent discount and infants costing only £39 each. A family of two adults and two children can escape to Greece in May 2008 from £1,437.
Lead in price for 2008 starts from £299 per person for seven nights’ bed and breakfast staying at the Club Active Tamarisk in Ortakent, Turkey.
